Our Mission: To revitalize neighborhoods by encouraging community and rapport between neighbors and neighborhoods.

Our focus is to bring neighbors together, next door and nearby, to help those who are unable to resolve nuisance violations due to ailment and finances. We do not want to see our elderly, poor or disabled neighbors have hardships multiplied simply because they are unable to resolve a problem with their property. We work with those who have not found relief through traditional channels, civic or civil and often who have no family able to assist.

With as little as one hour of your time you can help pull a neighbor out of harm’s way, keeping them from a court date and expensive abatement costs. If there are underlying needs, discovered during our work, we attempt to get help for these as well.

These acts also help to release hard feelings that neighbors can harbor towards the owner of a property that has been unmaintained for a long time. By doing this work, we hope to contribute to the building of understanding and rapport between neighbors and neighborhoods and thereby improve our ability to create a shared quality of life which is rooted simply in each of us valuing those who are near.
