This elderly woman lives here with an aunt who acts as her caretaker. They do not have the means to hire a landscaper or the health to do this themselves. A neighbor called the city on them and they were presented with a Notice of Violation and given a month to bring the property up to code. They are living here out of the kindness of a brother who owns the property. A group of us got together and filled 2 dumpsters of junk from the backyard as well as cutting the font lawn and taking all the weeds out of the front garden. We spoke to neighbors and let them know her situation. They will help to keep the property trimmed and the woman out of harm’s way. Adopt-A-Neighbor success!
